They use a design patented by Oneway to overcome the problems of traditional cam-lock bases. They clamp quickly and powerfully while maintaining the ability to move and slide easily. The clamp screw handle can even be adjusted to be out of your way when clamped.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOneway's excellent Banjo Bases can be used on lathes from other manufacturers, but we'll need a little information from you to customize the fit. Please check the specifications in the chart below to make sure the banjo will work with your lathe. Oneway banjos are made to use tool rests with 1\" posts that have smooth shafts all the way to the crossbar. The clamp block needs to fit in the bed gap. (See picture above for clarification.)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cb\u003e Bed Thickness \u003c\/b\u003e Thickness of the lathe bed itself.
