Both the rip and crosscut versions feature progressive tooth pitches - the teeth start\n out fine and get coarser as you move down the blade so it's easy to start, but you can still cut quickly.\n  \u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\n   The 15\" long blade is made form SK85 Japanese tool steel and has impulse hardened teeth. The handle is\n made from Japanese wingnut wood which is stained dark brown.
