It is made of hand-forged wear-resistant steel and has a tough 12" wide cutting edge. The wider blade takes big shavings with each pull, making it significantly faster than smaller knives for substantial stock removal and an excellent choice for work on green wood. The nicely shaped hardwood handles are bent to a 20° angle for comfortable, efficient use.
