This soft 5/8"(15 mm) thick foam pad is used when sanding profiles or curves. It goes between the sander pad and the sandpaper and helps the sander follow smooth curves without creating flat spots. Fits on the Festool ETS 125 EQ, the Festool RO 125 FEQ & all previous Festool 5"(125 mm) Random Orbit Sanders.
