Class Description
Harvesting greenwood is not only environmentally conscious and cost effective but also can be spiritually rewarding working with one of the earth's oldest building materials. In this class you will learn all about the ins and outs of harvesting your own green wood for both bowl turning and boards. From harvesting it in nature or finding it on the side of the road, that wood is only at the beginning of its journey before it can become a piece of woodcraft. Learning to control and anticipate wood movement is critical to making your time worthwhile.
