Sanding drums are used to sand curved edge. They can be used in a drill, drill press or lathe(with drill chuck). The rubber drum expands when you tighten a nut on the shaft(the tightening nut is on the tip on the 3" x 3" size) - locking the sanding sleeve in place.
Smaller sizes have 1/4" shafts. The 3" x 3" size has a 3/8" shaft.

Please Note: DO NOT USE these sanding drums in a router. They are not designed for high RPM tools.
