Veritas Steel Straightedge 24 inch

At some point, every woodworker needs a machinist's straightedge. The problem is that good ones are expensive. These straightedges from Veritas are accurate enough to set up woodworking machines and check surfaces - without breaking your budget. The steel straightedge is 1-1/2" wide and 1/4" thick. Both edges are milled to within 0.001" over the length. It has a hole near the end for hanging storage.
